Pledge to the Songs of Beulah Rowley

Mary Lee Kortes’s Songs of Beulah Rowley are hauntingly beautiful and a paean to midwestern musicality of yesteryear.  Contribute to this PledgeMusic campaign, and you will be glad you did.

Inhumans of New York

Jake La Botz, a very talented musician, has started a new Facebook group, Inhumans of New York.  We saw Jake playing with our dear friends Andy York and Ira Elliot at Bait & Tackle a few weeks ago in Red Hook.

That’s Jake in the fancy cowboy shirt.

At Vintrowear, we like mannequins too.

We here at Vintrowear we have a little vintage clothing shopping addiction.  What’s your addiction?  Our friend George Sluppick’s is vintage drums.  What a beautiful addiction.

There would be more photos, but they turned out beastly because Mrs. Vintrowear can’t figure out how to get a good shot off her camera in low lighting.
We also last night had the good fortune to meet Cousin Craig’s friend, drummer George Sluppick, who was wearing an awesome JC Penney vintage two-toned with calico print yoke.  Yes, there are photos.  Yes, the photos turned out blurry.  But yes, he wore it well.  He also gave me a button.  It’s got a wizard riding on an eagle.  I gave him a VW button.  It was a great night.

Where Am I?
